The fourth and final book on the Starpoint Mountain series. Jakobus is in the swamps dealing with Novelevon and working to decipher a thousand year old curse while Blinks, Angelia and Lincilara return the Burial Grounds and face new and old enemies. At the same time Gallif, considered an assassin by the people who trusted her, is a prisoner of the Giant Lords scheduled for execution.
